Description / Carbon Dividend Report
Carbon Dividend Report — CORC Yield Calculation
The Carbon Dividend Report quantifies the carbon removal value generated by each load of clean wood waste diverted from landfill into the pyrogenic biocarbon pathway. Using the formula Weight (tonnes) × 0.75 (CORC yield factor) × $350 (market price per tonne CO₂e), this report translates operational waste diversion into quantified climate impact and revenue potential.
For a standard 144-yard Walking Floor load of approximately 18.8 tonnes of clean wood waste, the Carbon Dividend calculates to approximately $4,935 in CORC value — representing the CO₂ removal certificates generated when that material is processed into stable pyrogenic biocarbon rather than decomposing in landfill or being incinerated without carbon capture.
The report includes: gross weight and dry weight (moisture-adjusted), CORC yield factor applied, market price reference, calculated Carbon Dividend value, cumulative CORC accumulation for the client, and comparison against the client's Scope 3 emissions obligations. For clients with ESG reporting requirements, the Carbon Dividend directly offsets Scope 3 waste management emissions.
The Carbon Dividend is displayed on every Decoupled Invoice as positive-impact framing: after showing the cost (base logistics, net weight, CIRCIL Levy), the invoice shows the environmental value created. This dual framing — cost transparency plus impact visibility — reinforces the value proposition of sorting and diverting clean wood through 905WOOD rather than sending mixed waste to landfill.
